A monthly luncheon meeting is held from September through May of the next year. Our healthcare seminar is held annually in June in conjunction with the General Meeting and Gala Dinner. No activities occur during the month of July and August.
The annual membership fee per person is 130,000 yen.
The annual membership fee is paid by each individual.
Yes, by informing the secretariat of the name, title and contact details of the person replacing the previous member.
Members have the opportunity to stay up to date on the latest industry trends and regulatory practices. Our large network consists of over 150 companies including Japanese pharmaceutical companies, foreign companies, healthcare and life-sciences companies, and more.
Members have the chance to openly discuss with expert speakers at the monthly luncheon meetings and Healthcare Seminar. They also have the opportunity to meet and share information with other members of Pharma Delegates through annual business and social gatherings.
We encourage an environment of exchange which fosters helpful discussions about business collaborations. Members are given access to presentation materials used by lecturers at luncheon meetings. Our expansive member directory is also accessible on our website.
About attendance to meetings
You will receive an announcement through e-mail as well as on the website. Please respond to the invite by the designated deadline date so that we can make arrangements for your attendance.
The monthly luncheon meeting is held at the Tokyo American Club. The usual schedule is as follows:

Fees for the luncheon and lecture are included in the annual membership fee. Members do not need to pay for each meeting.
Yes, a non-member may attend the luncheon meeting. A fee of 15,000 yen (per-person) is charged for visitors from member companies. A fee of 18,000 yen (per-person) is charged for visitors from non-member companies.
Yes, members are allowed to send a substitute attendee to the meeting. Please inform us of your substitute’s name and contact details in advance of the meeting.
Each annual PD cycle culminates with a Healthcare Seminar before the summer break. This popular event addresses key topics relevant to the healthcare industry, with notable invited speaker(s). Attendance fees are included in the annual membership package.
These are the last activities of the year. At the General Meeting, PD members receive a report on the year’s activities and financial updates, and have the opportunity to ask questions and make suggestions. The officers of the new term (chosen by ballot) will be introduced, and a Gala Dinner follows. The fee for this event is included in the membership fee. Non-members may also be invited to attend the Gala Dinner.
